Cosmetic Dentistry

Appearance-related dentistry, or cosmetic dentistry, is all about how your smile needs to not only be functional, but also great looking. Your smile is your portal to the world; your number one mode of communication and a powerful source for self-esteem, confidence, and continued successes. The following services are some of the techniques Dr. Rosenberg and his team employ to help you feel great, look great, and be great!

Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain VeneersMost of the smile makeovers you see on television or in magazines are the result of porcelain veneers. These custom-made, thin strips of porcelain are adhered to the fronts of existing teeth to create a natural, beautiful smile. Correcting dental issues like crooked teeth, chipped teeth, gaps in teeth, and discolored teeth can be accomplished easily in just a few appointments. Show the world the beauty and self-confidence that comes from a brilliant, white smile.

Tooth Whitening

Experience the confidence and beauty that comes from a dazzling, white smile. Imagine removing surface stains to reveal the white smile you had when you were a teenager. Tooth whitening is safe, effective, and long lasting. Choose from two main methods to get excellent results – a custom home tooth whitening kit or an in-office procedure.

Your custom home whitening kit involves a special tray that is customized to fit over your teeth. You also receive prescription whitening gel, which is inserted into the tray before you wear it. Dr. Rosenberg will give you detailed instructions for use and how long you should wear the tray each day. Expect the entire home whitening process to take between two and four weeks, leaving you with a radiant smile.

For more immediate results, Dr. Rosenberg also offers in-office tooth whitening using a more powerful whitening process. You will see dramatic results in just a few hours!

Porcelain crowns

Erase years of wear and tear, and restore your smile to brilliance with porcelain crowns. Sometimes called “caps,” porcelain crowns are customized just for you, covering broken, cracked, or discolored teeth. Crowns are a durable, strong, long lasting method of enhancing both the look and functionality of your smile. After some preparation on the tooth that will receive the crown, Dr. Rosenberg will position a custom-milled, lifelike porcelain crown over your damaged tooth, restoring and rejuvenating your oral health.

Tooth colored fillings

When decay is removed from the tooth, it is replaced with “filling” material. In the past, amalgam (silver) fillings were placed into the cleaned out portion of the tooth, but with advancements in dentistry, you now have the choice of tooth-colored fillings instead of silver fillings. Matching your existing teeth beautifully, you may even elect to remove your old silver fillings in favor of new, undetectable tooth-colored fillings.

Gum contouring

Does your smile have a lot of visible gum tissue? Many people with “gummy smiles” don’t know that there are treatments available to cosmetically enhance the look of your gums. Dr. Rosenberg can reshape the appearance of your gum tissue. With the addition of beautiful porcelain veneers, your gummy smile disappears, revealing a bright, stunning smile that looks natural and proportioned. The entire process takes just a few comfortable visits to transform your smile.

Bonding

Bonding is a tooth-colored material applied and adhered to the surface of the tooth, many times without reducing the structure of the tooth. Dr. Rosenberg sculpts the material to create your new, natural-looking tooth. Chipped and broken teeth, discolored teeth, and even gaps can be corrected through bonding. Bonding is a less costly procedure than veneers but doesn’t last as long and can stain like a natural tooth.

Inman Aligner

Enjoy a simple, hassle-free method of straightening your front teeth. The Inman Aligner is a revolutionary alternative to standard braces and is a more conservative option than porcelain veneers. Coils work to “squeeze” your teeth together by pushing and pulling them into alignment. In as little as six to 16 weeks, your front teeth will be straight, and you will feel confident to show off your new smile to the world!
